Much of what our fine gardeners do is the highly detailed management of a property as it matures. To do it well, timing is everything. In spring, they prepare and clean up gardens and prepare for planting. This usually includes installation of annual programs that might include planting containers in spring and summer and dividing perennials as the garden matures to promote plant health and vigor.

In summer, our gardeners spend much of their time deadheading, pruning and weeding. They also perform holiday decorating with fine greens, foliage, berry laden twigs and colorful accent branches combined with festive, tasteful ribbons. For the winter months our gardeners might introduce Red Twig Dogwoods or ornamental grasses to provide visual interest.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

Our fine gardeners also monitor gardens for pests and disease. When encountered, they work closely with the client to use natural and organic responsible methods and products when desired.
